Thanks for the concerned e-mails. Only one person in our group felt the earthquake yesterday and I hadn't a clue it happened until returning back to the hotel for dinner last night.
The motorcycles haven't arrived to the port yet and best guesses are that we won't be on them until next Monday or Tuesday. They will have to catch up to us, since China will not let us within 300 KM of Beijing on them due to the Olympics. No one is happy about this, but there is little that can be done.
Apparently, China has turned off the factories around Beijing about a month ago and the air is actually clean. What a scam!
